Live-edge Walnut Breakfast Nook Table

Live-edge Walnut Breakfast Nook Table

In the world of home design, finding pieces that blend natural elegance with practical functionality can transform your space.  What is better than a new piece of beautiful furniture getting delivered.  I just love this part of the process.

This was a custom build for a client's breakfast nook. They already had the benches built out, but needed a table to slide in.  This project highlights just how much a beautifully built hardwood table can transform a space.

We used multiple walnut slabs and glued them together to look like one slab.  Not only to save on cost, but it is almost impossible to find the exact dimension slab that someone wants.  So we take multiple slabs and glue them together.  This also make the top more stable over time.

This process does take some time, but the end result is well worth the wait.  Plan on roughly 12-16 weeks for us to handcraft your table for you.  We do also sell just the lumber if you want to tackle the job yourself, or hire someone near you.

This table exemplifies the potential of custom slab woodworking.  Let's discuss how to bring your vision to life.  Send us a message hazeloakfarms@gmail.com or 319-559-0031
